Me and Louise – photo by the awesome Chelsea Perry
Yep, it is all over. I write this post haven woken up for the last time in St. Louis on this trip. It has been a truly awesome experience and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything about this trip. The first few days have been rich with new experiences, new people, and an abundance of photography. I have taken it easier over the last couple of days, creatively anyways. We have spent time with our hosts, eating VERY nice steak, playing Phase 10 (card game) and going to church.

Me…these photos were taken by Gregg Boyer. He is the guy who got me really passionate about this medium of photography! Thanks!

Four church services in one day has been draining. Physically I have been shattered, emotionally stripped and spiritually challenged. I won’t go as far to say that this weekend has been “life-changing” as, to be honest, this has been the dream…to travel, to be with awesome people, and to experience new things (toasted ravioli – amazing!!). Playing music in front of a couple of thousand people in one seating has been something I never would have thought would be possible! It may not be to your particular taste but I tell you it was just an awesome, humbling, and passionate experience for myself.

Nathan and Tracy. Tracy was very nervous to receive her first British guests…she soon called us her kids! These two are gonna go far, especially if Nate cooks steaks for a living! These beasts were awesome. If we ran out of steak we could always cook the local deer that roamed the vast realms of the American back yard (sorry tracy). What a weekend!

Thank you so much to my american friends that brought us over here, thank you to Chelsea for opening my eyes and pouring so much into my life. Thank you to my american mom for taking such good care of Louise and me. Thank you God for allowing me to go around the world for you.
I am blessed.

Above us is the team…we are at the St Louis arch. Enjoy the pics…am in a rush need to eat me salad then we are off to sound check!

Up at 5am. Jet lag is nice. Went for a walk at 7am. Here are some pics of our local neighbourhood. Too much space so I didn’t get too far. Met Bumblebee on the way…

I am able to get a head start and up load so more shots of my trip. Hopefully, I can sleep in tomorrow and not go on in English time. I was awake at 4am this morning, struggling to turn my wide awake mind off. Today, has been a lot less busy. We were told we would be pushed to work every day but thank God it has slowed for today. We have been out to two local malls, about the size of Liverpool One, a third of the Trafford Centre. Both very nice. Most of my shots today have been taken around “The Loop”, a quite retro are of St. Louis, a photographers high point.

We ate at “Fitz’s” and were pretty much treated to some awesome burgers, fried pickles, and I am now eating milk duds as I type. Fitz’s is known for its root beer floats, which I can tell you are great. It is also a root beer bottling plant so I have included some shots of the not working plant. I am not usually a root beer fan but with added ice cream…mmmm! My burger was covered with chilli and nachos and sour cream and….
It’s been a good day so far. We are planning to eat out tonight with our hosts who have a lovely house, by the way. I think I will try and blog about them separately, including some portraits and pics of their home.
Enjoy the pics. I am attempting to gain 10 pounds in 5 days so you will get more food pics as I go : )

I will try and update every day the shots that I get from my trip over here to St Louis, MO. Am over here with a group of guys from my church in England. The church here, St Louis Family Church, has flown all of us musicians/singers over, all expenses paid to play in their youth event. So far we flew in yesterday and landed at 4pm local time, sound checked at 5pm for an hour then were on stage at 7.30pm (basically got up at 5am uk time, played at 1230 at night uk time!).
Here is a selection of my brief trip so far. Not gonna have time to do a lot of editing so most images will be straight from the camera…

Really have no inspiration to chat lately…so more photies!
